Passionate about wine and art, hedonistic yet perfectionist, Philippe Austruy has implemented a strict investment policy at each property to restore their full dignity. After 15 years, the Austruy Vineyards signature appears on wines that deeply respect their roots and style. A man of the world, he divides his time between Paris, Brussels, Latin America, and Portugal. Falling in love with wine and vineyards, he started a “collection” of Austruy vineyards, composed of properties that captivated him.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The winemaker Alexandra Guedes assumes in 2024 the technical direction of the wines and olive oil produced by Quinta da C\u00f4rte. A granddaughter and daughter of Douro winegrowers, Alexandra Guedes inherited her love for viticulture from an early age. After completing her degree in Enology, she furthered her training by undertaking internships and harvests throughout the Douro region, currently boasting 15 harvests in her resume. Known for her perfectionism and attention to detail, she is now responsible for upholding the philosophy of Philipe Austruy’s wines and ensuring that each vintage reflects the authenticity and excellence that define the wines and olive oil of this Quinta.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
