\nThe name change from C\u00f4rte Douro DOC White to C\u00f4rte Princesa Douro DOC White aims to strengthen the identity and clarity of the only white wine within the Quinta da C\u00f4rte wine \u201cfamily\u201d. Made exclusively from 100 % white grapes grown on the estate\u2019s vineyards, it ensures full coherence between name, origin and terroir expression. The wine comes notably from 5 hectares of Viosinho planted at 500 m altitude in the Cima Corgo sub-region, at the heart of the Douro Valley, and stands out for its natural freshness and refined character. By associating Princesa with C\u00f4rte, the wine\u2019s strong connection to its estate and history is more clearly expressed, giving it a more distinctive, memorable and consistent personality within the range.
