Quinta da Côrte: Luxury, Tradition and Modernity
The Casa, which contains the guest accommodation, dates from the 19th century. With its old-style windows and shutters and its whitewashed walls which blend the colours of the surrounding greenery with the sparking yellow of the sun, this old building seems to be alive with the souls of its various past owners.

The greatest wish of Philippe Austruy and Pierre Yovanovitch is simply to welcome you to this haven of authenticity, renovated with traditional materials: tiles, schist and solid wood, and to offer you the precious experience of a welcome entirely tailored to your personal needs.
Come to La Casa and feel at home.

The kitchen
Situated at the heart of the house, the kitchen contains a monumental tiled fireplace and an expansive dining table whose tiled top is an original creation representing the countryside of the Douro Valley.
A variety of antique furnishings make the various sitting rooms, library and reception room feel particularly warm and lived-in.

Guest accommodation
The 8 rooms available for bookings offer a carefully contrived blend of luxury and simplicity. Embroidered metis bed linen, designer rugs, bathrooms entirely lined with delicately-toned Portuguese artisanal earthenware tiles, walls hung with paintings, lithographs and pastels.
The four rooms in the Casa itself and the four rooms in the surrounding buildings all offer outstanding views of the valley.

The table d’hôtes
Our cook, Marie-Hélène, will provide simple meals which make good use of fresh local produce. You could become addicted to her toasted almonds, her home-made jams, her husband’s honey, the Quinta’s own olive oil – all these products are produced on the domaine.
